Should we build coalitions across political divides to respond to the climate emergency? George argues no, “you build a committed minority until it passes a social tipping point. You don’t appeal to the status quo. You change the status quo.” Alex argues yes – “what we need on climate isn’t to win battles – it’s to end wars. Which means winning people over, and building a larger us rather than a them-and-us.” What do you think?
